Dr. Elena Ballantyne obtained her B.A. in Psychology in 2004 from Queens University and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology at Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 2013. She returned to her hometown of St. Catharines to complete her Internship and Supervised Practice at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and Bieman-Copland and Associates. She has been registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario since 2014. Her areas of practice are Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology with Adults and Seniors. Her training at St. Joseph's Hospital allows her to bring a high level of expertise to the assessment and treatment of individuals with complex dual diagnosis presentations of acquired brain injury and psychiatric illness or dementia. In 2016, Dr. Ballantyne accepted a full-time position at St. Joseph's Hospital but continues to provide assessment and treatment services to clients at BCA Neuropsychology Group two evenings per week and some Saturdays.
